Airport Security Veggie Tale (Not For Kiddies)
From IdeaSandbox post, by way of [info]punkwalrus:

A Burger King placemat seen at a German airport shows the fate of substandard ingedients that attempt to slip through the restaurant's strict security:

In addition to receiving a public rectal examination by the Village People Biker Guy Pickle...

...the suspicious onion suffers the additional humiliation of having his veggie porn collection scattered across the floor for all to see.

I'm not sure whether to be stunned that Burger King would print such an inappropriate placemat, or congratulate them for printing one that is all too appropriate for the experience of modern air travel....

Has this been confirmed? It sounds extremely improbable to me that Burger King would do that, even in Germany.

A search turned up a BoingBoing story in which someone else confirms seeing the placemat near Amsterdam and provides a pointer to the same image in an advertising-prints store. Setting up the latter, especially, seems a bit far to go for a spoof.

EDIT: Also turned up this page with detailed images of this one and several other placemats from the same series.

This might get me to eat at Burger King when I visit Germany, just to try to snag one of those placemats.

I'll ask about this on my journal, since I probably have more German readers than you do.
