Health Insurance Problem Solved -- Mission Accomplished
A health care policy adviser for the McCain campaign told a newspaper reporter that nobody in the United States is technically uninsured, because everyone has access to hospital emergency rooms.
"So I have a solution [to the health care crisis]. And it will cost not one thin dime," John Goodman, president of the National Center for Policy Analysis, told the Dallas Morning News in an interview published Thursday.
"The next president of the United States should sign an executive order requiring the Census Bureau to cease and desist from describing any American – even illegal aliens – as uninsured.

"And when exactly did all this happen?"
"When we rewrote the dictionary. Captain, you're a good man. You're a fine soldier. A leader. You understand that sometimes, before you can deal with a problem, you have to redefine it."
"But you can't deal with the problems by pretending they don't exist."
"There's no need to embarrass our leaders by pointing out the flaws in our society that they're aware of and dealing with in their own way. Some people just enjoy finding fault with our leaders -- they're anarchists, they're troublemakers, or they're simply just unpatriotic!"

And it will cost not one thin dime

Technically, he's right. It'll cost millions and millions of thin dimes. (In hospital operating costs that get transferred to those who can afford them--and/or their insurance companies.)
